For the last 2 years our family has battled the constant redness, scratching & itch, dryness and (let's be honest) frustrated grumpiness that is eczema.
I am constantly blending different oil and butters with the aim of bringing our youngest daughter some relief. In all honesty her eczema has at times been all consuming as it affects our entire day (and possibly even more importantly every night).
I have found that keeping it simple is best and for the first time we are making "Emmy's Balm" available. I use a few different products on her skin but Emmy's Balm is essential for us in our 'eczema treatment arsenal'.
Does it cure eczema? No, it can't possibly. It's recognised to be an auto immune disease (Do pop along and read The Eczema Diaries section of our blog) and there can be so many factors. But, for us, my little Emmy, it eases her itching, redness and coats her skin with a barrier that helps to prevent water leaving the skin (which eczema skin can't do).
It is unscented as from our research, and experience, this is important when it comes to little skin and sensitive or eczema skin in general. Whilst it has been formulated for use with excema skin it is also excellent on any redness, insect bites and itching.
It is available in a 50 ml jar (min 48g weight) but we have made it available in a 150ml jar that offers excellent value.
